Brick Tiles, are they fire proof?

Clay brick tiles in a fire may sound like a standard thing. As with many things, sometimes the simplest questions can have you confused over the answer.

Short Answer

Yes and No!

Answer Expanded

You can use Clay brick tiles in a fire as they are cut from actual bricks.

Clay bricks when manufactured are fired in a kiln at temperatures of up to 1,200°C. Naturally fired clay is inert meaning they are going to be fireproof to a certain extent. As with any product heat has an effect over time and can cause pressures and stress on the material which can lead to structural failure.
