Is your home made from a London stock brick or is it more of a yellow brick a red brick.
In our experience most people would like to match the exterior brickwork or at least have a close match to the brickwork that is in keeping with the dwellings in the area which they reside, but is this the way to go?
I am constantly reassuring customers that it is ok to choose a different colour and select a brick tile that is different, as it really isn’t uncommon to see a red brick inside a yellow brick house nor is it uncommon to see a buff brick inside a red brick house.
These are all design choices that need to be taken into account because a brick tile feature wall is a wall that is all about keeping and highlighting the raw aspect of what your home is built from as well as trying to blend in and compliment other design aspects of the room.
Choosing location and tile type is not your only dilemma, making the right mortar choice can make a massive difference in the overall look of the wall.
