Brick Tiles look identical to full bricks
In the past brick tiles were only purpose made and were not very adventurous in design. In days gone by distinguishing full bricks from brick tiles used to be easy. Great news is that today with machinery and technology we are now able to cut almost anything.
Our brick tiles are made 100% from real clay, this ensures the texture colour and aesthetic is kept identical to the brick.
The only noticeable difference is that brick tiles are thin at approximately 20mm.
Brick tiles are lightweight and space saving
Because we only take off the front face of the brick the product is extremely light weight, approximately 25kg-30kg pm2.
Brick tiles are very easy to work with and can allow for complex and intricate designs that wouldn’t normally be possible.
They can be installed on almost any surface, as long as the substrate is structurally sound and can bear the weight then brick tiles can be installed.
In most cases a brick tiles are a cheaper alternative to full bricks
One of the most appealing advantages of brick tiles is that they are much more affordable as a DIY product than full bricks.
Like for like on equivalent handmade bricks costs are cheaper and installation does not require large scale construction which can incur significant costs.
Easy to install, a great DIY Product
If you are a budding DIY enthusiast there is no better product than brick tiles to test your skills. Brick tiles are far easier to install that most people think.
Applied like a conventional tile using rapid setting tile adhesive and brick tile spacers a wall can be faced in no time.
Once the adhesive has cured it can be pointed using a gun injection pointing mortar. This whole process is pain free and can be completed with ease.
Advantages of Brick tiles, they can be used for lots of applications!
Brick tiles can be used for both internal and external applications.
Internally they can be used for brick tile feature walls, pillars, fireplaces.
External brick tiles can be used for cladding traditional buildings and modular buildings. Brick tiles can also be used in conjunction with most external cladding systems including EWI, SIPS and Durisol.
